Around the Table

It has been a busy month of moving into the new house!!! (Answered prayers!! ◡̈)

We have had our first few Sunday Dinners here, including charcuterie night, enchiladas, and more. It has been so sweet to see the new space already becoming what we hoped it would be—a place where people can gather, eat, relax, and feel at home.

One really exciting change lately has been seeing supporters take on more of the cooking responsibilities. This has been a major help to the ministry and has allowed more people to participate in creating the welcoming environment that Sunday Dinner is built around.

For the next few months, I am looking forward to simply enjoying what has been built so far and praying over what God has for Sunday Dinner in the coming year.

Discipleship & Care

I am currently studying pastoral care, and it has already been such a gift to this ministry. I am learning and gaining practical skills that are equipping me to better walk alongside women through the many different seasons and circumstances of life.

As Sunday Dinner continues to grow, we are also looking for a male employee to help lead and care for the men who are becoming part of the community. Please pray that God would bring the right person to join the team!

Community & Connection

We had one birthday celebration this month with a farmers market + craft theme! ◡̈ I love getting to celebrate people in simple but intentional ways and create moments where they feel known and cared for.

Couch & Cope continues to meet every other week, creating a consistent space for women to be heard, supported, and encouraged.

We have also started playing more games at the Sunday Dinner house—especially after dinner—and it has been such a fun addition! Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when everyone is simply sitting around the table laughing and playing together.

Ministry Growth & Provision

Please pray for the Lord to continue growing the Sunday Dinner team. We are looking for more people who feel called to work in ministry and become part of what is happening through Sunday Dinner.

And one of our biggest answered prayers this year has officially happened:

WE FOUND THE HOUSE!!! 🏡

We had been praying for the right space—somewhere bigger, with more bedrooms, where we could better serve women in transition. God provided exactly that, and we are now officially out of Worthington!

It has already been amazing to see how this new space is opening up possibilities for Sunday Dinner. We are so grateful for everyone who prayed, gave, encouraged, and helped make this transition possible.

Looking Ahead

This month, we will be continuing Sunday Dinners consistently—one dinner had to be moved to a Tuesday 😉 but it is still happening!

We will also have:

  • 🎂 A bonfire birthday party
  • 🎃 A Halloween get-together
  • 🔥 A bonfire while we hand out candy to trick-or-treaters
  • 🍽️ More dinners and time together in the new house

I am excited to see what this next season looks like as we settle into the house and continue building a community that feels like home.
